What is the plan for activities and athletics?

All activities and interested-based clubs are currently being reviewed to determine if they meet Minnesota Department of Health guidelines. More details to come. 

The Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) has decided to move ahead with the following fall sports as planned. The fall season began Aug. 17 for: Girls Tennis, Girls Swimming & Diving, Boys Soccer and Girls Soccer.

Originally, Volleyball, Football and Bowling were postponed until spring 2021. The MSHSL Board of Directors approved the reconsideration placement of Football and Volleyball back to the fall season. The football season will begin Monday, Sept. 28 with the first of six regular games the week of Oct. 5. A two-week, postseason will begin the week of Nov. 16. Volleyball will begin an 11-week season Monday, Sept. 28 with first matches played Thursday, Oct. 8. Two weeks of postseason play will begin the week of Nov. 30.

Start Date - Sept. 14, 2020
End Date - Oct. 3, 2020
Maximum Number of daily sessions per sport - 12 

Adapted Soccer Training Sessions
Start Date - Sept. 21, 2020

End Date - Oct.23, 2020
Maximum Number of daily sessions - 8

*The MAAA has recommended that the Adapted Soccer Fall Training Season replace the interscholastic competitive Adapted Soccer Season for fall 2020. A final decision on this recommendation will come from the MSHSL Board of Directors soon.

Spring Sport Fall Training Seasons
Start Date - Oct. 5, 2020

End Date - Oct.24, 2020
Maximum Number of daily sessions per sport - 12
