Head Lice Infographic Head lice - yuck! No one wants it, but it's a common community problem, that doesn't discriminate, often infesting people with good hygiene. Spread mainly through direct head-to-head  contact. It's important to check for lice FREQUENTLY and REGULARLY!

Lice are tiny, wingless insects that live close to the human scalp. They feed on human blood. When checking for head lice, you may see several forms: the nit, the nymph, and the adult louse.
