Parents of children who will be five years old on or before Sept. 1, 2017 are encouraged to attend kindergarten registration nights at Highland, North Park or Valley View elementary schools. The registration is for the 2017-2018 school year.

Highland Elementary
5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29

North Park Elementary
10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16

Valley View Elementary
5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17

If you are unable to attend your school's registraion, visit the District's Placement Center (1440 49th Ave NE, Columbia Heights) to fill out the required enrollment forms. Forms may also be faxed to 763-528-4529, or dropped off in person at the Placement Center.

"College and Careers Start in Kindergarten" nights include information about the school, classroom, teachers and staff, as well as all necessary documentation to register students. Parents and/or guardians will need to bring the following to help their kindergartner start their graduation pathway:

• Birth certificate
• Immunization records
• Early Childhood Screening documents
• Current address and phones 
• Emergency contact information (name, address and phone) 
• Daycare information (name, address and phone)
