Vacant BOE Seat Update

On November 22, 2022 the CHPS BOE appointed Michelle Pettway as a new CHPS Board member after interviewing all applicants for board vacancy position. Ms. Pettway will be sworn in with other newly elected members on January 3, 2023. She was appointed to fill a Board vacancy when School Board Chair Naty Severson resigned in October. This appointment will fill the seat until, in accordance with state law, the CHPS holds a special election for the vacant seat which will take place on November 7, 2023.
