Columbia Heights Public Schools to Offer Free Summer Meals
Columbia Heights Public Schools (CHPS) is excited to announce its participation in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) summer food programs. The USDA announced early March they would extend their summer food programs to allow all children to continue to receive FREE nutritious meals this summer when schools are out of session.
CHPS will begin summer meal delivery June 14 at various locations around the community. Summer meal service is available to all children age 18 and younger and persons over age 18 with mental or physical disabilities without charge. Meals will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
