Columbia Heights Students Shine Bright During Youth Art Month
Columbia Heights Public Schools (CHPS) student artwork shined bright during Youth Art Month sponsored by Art Educators of Minnesota.
North Park Elementary student Selena Gutierrez McDonald received an Honorable Mention for her work “Playing with Yarn” in the student exhibition.
In conjunction with the month-long event, works of art from students across Minnesota were showcased at the State Capital – fourteen of which were from CHPS, including Gutierrez McDonald’s.
Congratulations to all of our student artists whose work was included in the exhibit (listed below) and the District’s art educators.
