Columbia Heights Public Schools creates worlds of opportunity for each and every learner where all belong and all succeed. We support the whole child from academics to mental health and everything in between.
Health is more than just physical fitness. Whether you are learning on-site or from home, we encourage you to explore these Healthy Hylander resources. On the Healthy From Home card below you’ll have an opportunity to choose activities from five different categories (fitness, outdoors, nutrition, well-being and creativity) and mark them off as you complete them! Though it is called Healthy From Home this can be done anywhere and anytime!
We want to see how you’re staying healthy at home! Share your photos and videos with us by using hashtags #HealthyHylanders and #HealthyFromHome or send them to your teacher for a chance to see your face on District social media!
We understand that life is tough and overwhelming right now. The CHPS Virtual Calm Zone is a space for students, families, and staff to explore tools and strategies that can help manage stress and emotions. We hope this site can helpful in finding outlets and practices that help get through tough times.
Your feelings are normal; the situation is not. Don't forget to breathe.
