School Board Election Information
- July 14, 2026: Filing Opens
- July 28, 2026: Filing Closes
- July 30, 2026: Candidate Withdrawal Deadline
- September 18, 2026: Start of Absentee Voting
- November 3: Election Day (Precinct information can be found on the Anoka County Website)
At the Board meeting following the election, the BOE members will canvass the results. There will be a 7-day contest period following the meeting at which the votes were canvassed.
The elected member will be sworn in at the Organizational Board of Education meeting in January 2027.
INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 13 (COLUMBIA HEIGHTS PUBLIC SCHOOLS), MINNESOTA NOTICE OF CANDIDATE FILINGS FOR OFFICE
The candidate filing period will be open between Tuesday, July 14, 2026, and Tuesday, July 28, 2026, during office hours. All candidate filings must be received by Tuesday, July 28, 2026, 5:00 PM. With the exception of the last day of candidate filing, when the CHPS District Office is open until 5:00 p.m., our regular office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
