Alumni

The City of Columbia Heights has had a public school system for more than a century. Columbia Heights High School was established in 1926 as the first high school in Anoka County. The school district expanded to welcome students from the cities of Hilltop and Fridley, and through open enrollment, students from surrounding communities have discovered their talents, unleashed their potention and developed tools for lifelong success here at ISD #13.

Thousandes of graduates today proudly say that they are Hylander Alums. Many are actively involved in our schools in some form or another. Many of our graduates have gone on to have distinguished careers, and from these each year we honor an Alumni of Distinction. Our Alumni Foundation also awards thousands of dollars annually for scholarships to deserving CHHS students.
