ENCORE

Columbia Heights Public Schools offers free ENCORE after-school programming. ENCORE offers extended learning opportunities focused on technology, arts, environmental studies, health/fitness and academic support. All class offerings are designed to provide students with the skills they will use to be successful in college and careers.

ENCORE is an after-school academic and enrichment program that runs throughout the school year. ENCORE classes foster learning in literacy, math, arts, mental and physical health, technology and environmental studies.

Examples of ENCORE offerings include:

Northern Clay Center Pottery class
Strength Training class (Winter and Spring, Grades 6-12)
Mock Trial
DiscoverU (partnership with the University of Minnesota)
