    The School Board accepted, with appreciation, contributions in the amount of $77,590.

    Reports from Members of the Board

    Chair Naty Severson attended the Columbia Heights High School (CHHS) graduation, two School Board chair meetings, the June 15 work session and a special called meeting. She also had conversations with stakeholders.

    Vice Chair Lorien Mueller attended CHHS graduation, a City of Columbia Heights City Council meeting, two School Board chair meetings, the June 15 work session and a special called meeting. She also had conversations with Members Lewis and Granlund.

    Clerk Laura Palmer attended CHHS graduation, the June 15 work session and a special called meeting. She also had conversations with constituents.

    Treasurer Hala Asamarai attended the June 15 work session and a special called meeting. She also had conversations with constituents.

    Director Mary Granlund attended CHHS graduation, the June 15 work session and a special called meeting. She connected with School Board members from neighboring districts had a conversation with Vice Chair Mueller and had conversations with families, students and staff.

    Director Molly Lewis attended CHHS graduation, the June 15 work session and a special called meeting. She also had a conversation with Vice Chair Mueller.

    Superintendent's Report
    Superintendent Zena Stenvik attended CHHS graduation and thanked all who were involved. District administrators wrapped up with school year with a two-day administrative retreat. Summer ENCORE and youth sports opportunities began this week. The Superintendent shared there is a lot going on within the District even though school is no longer is session.

    Executive Director of Educational Services Bondo Nyembwe presented information on the Placement Center.

    School District Highlights from a One-Year Perspective
    Director of Teaching & Learning Tara Thukral presented an overview of District-wide Highlights from the 2020-2021 school year.
