Food Sites for Students During School Closure

  • Beginning Wednesday, March 18, 2020, Columbia Heights Public Schools will deliver meals for students at various locations around the community. Children age 18 and under will be offered a bagged lunch and breakfast at each hub, free of charge.

Meal Site Guidelines

    1. You must be age 18 or younger
    2. Form a line and follow directions
    3. Stay 6 feet away from others
    4. One at a time; you can take 1 bag
    5. Leave the area with your bag

    You can pick up 1 Lunch/Breakfast each week day.

    Breakfast: Cereal and crackers
    Lunch: PB&J (alternates available for peanut allergies)

    Tuesday
    Breakfast: Benefit bar
    Lunch: Turkey and cheese sandwich & chips

    Wednesday
    Breakfast: Cereal bar and cheese stick
    Lunch: Nacho kit

    Thursday
    Breakfast: Benefit bar
    Lunch: Chicken patty sandwich & fruit snacks

    Friday
    Breakfast: Brekkie breakfast round

    Lunch: Pizza

    All breakfasts come with fruit, juice and milk. All lunches come with fruit, vegetable, and milk. Menus are subject to change.
