Acknowledgement of Contributions
Chair John Larkin announced a resolution to accept current contributions in the amount of $4,582.42. The School Board accepts with appreciation the contributions of these gifts and donations.
Reports from Members of the Board
Chair John Larkin had many conversations with community members.
Vice Chair Naty Severson had conversations with community members, attended School Board Chair Meeting, School Board Work Session, CHHS tennis banquet, football games, and the CHHS Academic Awards program.
Treasurer Lorien Mueller attended the School Board Work Session, CHHS and CA football games, CA Parent-Teacher Conferences, Swim Meet, and breakfast with Board Member Asamarai.
Clerk Hala Asamarai attended the School Board Work Session, and had conversations with community members.
Director Molly Lewis attended the School Board Listening Session, the School Board Work Session, CA Parent-Teacher Conferences, JV and Varsity Football games, Striker games, and had conversations with community members.
Director Laura Palmer attended CA Parent-Teacher Conferences, School Board Work Study and the Sub-committee on Policy, and had conversations with community members.

Deputy Director of Teaching & Learning Tara Thukral and Highland Elementary Principal Michele DeWitt presented information on the Vision Card for Highland Elementary that tie to the District's Strategic Plan. There were no governance questions with this presentation. View the presentation.

Director of Community Education & Communications Kristen Stuenkel, Director of Special Education Dr. John Fry, Deputy Director of Teaching & Learning Tara Thukral, Elementary Summer School Principal Nathan Meyer and Secondary Summer School Principal Rick Ostby gave an update on programming for summer 2018. Chair John Larkin presented information about the establishment of a School Board Ad Hoc Sub-Committee on Community Engagement. It will come to the School Board as an Action Item at the Nov. 13, 2018 School Board Meeting.

Deputy Director of Teaching & Learning Tara Thukral brought the 2017-2018 Annual Report to the School Board for approval. The 2017-2018 Annual Report was approved.
Strategic Roadmap 2019-2024
Director of Community Education & Communications Kristen Stuenkel brought the Strategic Roadmap 2019-2024 to the School Board for approval. The Strategic Plan 2019-2024 was approved. View the presentation.
